    My research aims to ascertain the anatomical and functional aspects of intentions and actions. I study the clinical, behavioural, and anatomical measures of patients with stroke and praxic deficits to understand the impact of neurological disorders on neurocognitive networks. In particular, I examine the role of the left hemisphere in the recognition and execution of actions after an injury, and the contribution of different cortical areas to different types of apraxia. This knowledge is critical for developing new treatments and future therapies for brain injury that potentially drive the diagnosis and rehabilitation of goal-directed action disorders in neurological patients.
